Description
In this AU, Alphys is not a Royal Scientist. She is still on the Scientist staff, but as a monster-biologist and Doctor of Medicine. She is also the director of the hospital.
Her personality is also much more confident and courageous than the original. She doesn't stammer and always stands up for what she thinks, she's not afraid of failure, acts decisively and really has a knack for what she does.
She is still the creator of the Amalgamates, but here they were not created as a result of Determination's secret research, but in a failed attempt to create a cure for all diseases. Also, no one hides information about the Amalgamates, since they were all voluntary test subjects who, along with their families, were openly and honestly warned of the risks.
As a result of not having to keep the Amalgamates a secret, Alphys is also much more relaxed and confident about her future.

For a while she was jealous of Undyne for Papyrus, but after knowing him personally, she stopped.

Alphys respects Sans as a scientist, but hates his puns.
