Muh, this is why I hate barbed wire. But it did have one positive in that it resulted in this wonderful photograph. Honestly, of the works I've favourited...this is still my favourite. Of course, I like it because I hate barbed wire and I'm a morbid individual, but, really, this photograph...you should make prints of it. If you don't already. *should check*

I'm not sure if it's healthy to enjoy this photo. Luckily I've never been accused of such.
I just wanna know how that can even happen.

It kinda makes you wonder how it got suck like that.
Did it like just decide it wanted to stick it's leg up into some wire.
Or did it jump get caught, fall and the wire twisted.
As gross as it may sound, i like this.

Oh that's awful....
I mean the fact that animals get caught in barbed wire and die is awful. The photo is actually very good. Nice job.

At the barn where I ride horses, a deer tried to jump over the fence, got it's hoof stuck between the boards, and hung there dead and rotting for weeks. My trainer never went out there and removed it. The stench was awful. I had to smell it every time I went to fetch a horse.
I felt bad for it, just hanging there. Dead. I wanted to give it a proper burial or something.
Just thought I'd share that story with you.

so you let it die? and you decided to take a picture of it instead? I is wondering... Did you see it and have to run off and get a camera? Or did you have a camera on you?

that makes me feel a little better considering you let it die, did you stand there watching it die? Or come back later to find it dead?

It was already rotted. It was dead for a long time.

It was probably stuck there for about 2 weeks. It was plenty dead. I have pictures of its body, also.
