I think the best part about this comic is how many people say "You are heartless and you don't know what it's like to have a handicapped person in your life."
My brother is mentally handicapped...he watched me draw this.

There is some truth in that. Depending on the level of handicap, there are plenty who must be intellectually superior to a Labrador, and less likely to chase squirrels. Another advantage the mentally handicapped have over guide dogs is that they can usually speak to some degree. So either this is politically incorrect humour, or it is the route to fulfilling employment for the mentally handicapped... and an upgrade to blind peoples Labradors. I think we should sleep on it.

A lot of people don't like jokes about the mentally handicapped, and those people never bothered to get to know a mentally handicapped person. Yeah, they have feelings too, that's the point! They have a sense of humor! I don't really understand why jokes about blondes are ok, but jokes about the handicapped are a no-no.
Anyway, Sorry about the rant.
I love all of your comics, and this is one of the best.
