One trick is to tell 'em stories that don't go anywhere, like the time I caught the shuttle over to Kaon. I needed a new tire for my wheel, so, I decided to go to Mareon, which is what they called Kaon in those days. So I tied an insecticon shell to my rearview mirror, which was the style at the time. Now, to take the shuttle cost a Shanix, and in those days, Shanixes had pictures of cyberflies on 'em. "Give me five flies for a quarter," you'd say. Now, where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was I had a shell on my rearview mirror, which was the style at the time. They didn't have gold shells because of the war.
