I've pretty much been working on some dumb certification about food safety since I posted that last comic page and I'm so booooored. Anyways, I thought some more about Phage and his personality and a bit of the world and stuff so I'm gonna dump it here:-Phage is very afraid of becoming inert, so he constantly drink to stay awake (they get their energy from drinks, primarily. They don't die if they don't drink, they just lose consciousness until they find a host). I haven't decided how sleeping works, or if it's even a thing, but if I decide sleeping is a thing, he doesn't do it.
-He doesn't really fear death. Death is considered to be the complete extinction of a strain of a virus, and to outrun death is to find a suitable host to live in (preferably one you don't end up murdering). Phage has little interest in multiplying, and cares far more about keeping this single body "alive," an ideal that is considered to be unusual and single-minded in the virus community.
-He has a crippling fear of the future, and being somewhat of an outcast, doesn't have many people to confide in, or convince him not to do the crazy shit he sometimes thinks will secure his future.
-Since he didn't pay much attention is school, he doesn't know how the world works and how he fits into it, which adds to his anxiety.
-While he didn't quite get a proper education, he's still quite observant and gets his knowledge in an a more unconventional "in-the-field" sort of way
