Is it functional, I mean, retractable? Anyway, retractable or not, congratulations!!!! So well built, so beautiful, and with a good costume, would fit with awesomeness!!!!

I have developed a model myself, with lazy-tong, but I had a scaling trouble and it become non-functional. I'm a little bit curious about your (stunning!!) project: could you show a pic from inside? Congrats once more!!!

One more thing: I'll try to make some sketches with ideas. If I make decent ones, I'll post or send to you, if you wish. Just to share ideas.

Oh, I'm glad you linked your video!!! I'll watch it with great interest, thanks. About my model: I destroyed it, lol. I used wooden popsicle sticks to make the lazy-tong, very easy to shape!! I'm trying to make another one, based on a drawer, but still searching for "usable" pieces. As soon as I mount, I'll post and let you know. I don't have much free time to work on my project now; may take weeks to make some simple steps. Bu I promise you'll see!!!! P.S. I still didn't quit with the gear-lazy-tong idea, but it's hard to find good materials to build.

i spend for this 2 weeks about 2 hours per day (if pure work) and about 50-70$ for this yellow metal and some small pieces i've from the begining the are were in my house
i can't right now cause my camera(on my mobile phone) isn't have a good quality of video...
the blade is from aluminium and it's only for prototype when all will work good i'll make the blade from stainless steel(that's using for the knives) and sertainly i would try to make feather looking sharpness as on the one cocept
and i thing i'll get a good camera for that time

thank you
i think it's not a talent or practise because it's just my first work with such materials...
everyone who have a littlebir of brains and instruments can do this

maybe that's true. I built a working pistol out of cardboard and a spring 2 years back, I guess this is kind of the same.
