hmmm, okay C: is it easier outlining stuff in PSP than in photoshop? because i need ways to make linearting easier xD;

Well...I use bezier in psp7 so it's not easier for me...since I hate bezier..|D I only did it this time because psp7 makes solid lines and I wanted to look for a method of coloring the base colors faster, but nothing worked. Linearting isn't the hard part for me really, it's coloring. @@ Laying down the base colors...is...HELL...on such a huge picture. I wish I could flood fill but it never fills in completely or makes something pixely so I just color in everything manually. I feel like I'm missing some big secret everyone else knows. xD

Filling in pictures used to be a pain for me, too :0 but what i usually do (in photoshop) is use the wand tool to select certain sections of the lineart (tolerance is at like 100-150). But. sometimes..the wand tool doesnt like to cooperate, and doesnt select the pixels around the edges of the lineart xD; so i right click and press grow :B Sometimes it works out, and sometimes it...grows too much xD then when your done just make the brush really big and fill in :U

Thats one method (wow im talking waayyy too much) The other way i'll color in a picture is by first selecting the outside of the character in the picture (use the wand tool, tolerance level is the same) you can click on the same space on the picture multiple times to make it...um...."seep in" faster (i usually click 6 or 7 times) then, zoom in and see if theres any spaces you missed (around fur and jagged edges that stick out are usually where they are) click on those make sure they fill in completely (right up against the lineart) when you're done with that, right click and press "select inverse" and the entire picture should be selected. Fill it in, then go to your layers tab (if you dont have one, then it should be in the windows option). On the tab, click on the folder to make a new group, then click on the grey box with a white circle in it to make a layer mask. After your done with that, make a new layer in that group. Now the colors wont go outside the lineart C: it also makes the above/first method easier (i dont know why, but when an object is already colored in the wand tool really is like magic 8DD *pun*)

That concludes my coloring explanation, you make rip out your eyes now :B

I hope that helped, though xD; sometimes i still have to color little things in manually, here and there, but they're always small....small spots, and i color them in because im anal 8D;
