and the shading on it is again perfect from the shading on his

Many thanks for this drawing! I liked many of the songs from X-Japan - they are something like classics if you are one of those old school anime fans like I am (and especially if you like X1999 by Clamp as much as I do...). I got most of their songs somewhere on an old MD of mine and I keep listing to them from time to time. X-Japan left us a great legacy. And Hide was a wonderful musician.
May his soul have found the way to the light...
PS: I need to try out my pastel pencils again too at some point.

i'm not joking when i say this had got to be one of the best traditional art(s) i've seen. it's just amazing. the leather is fantastic, the way you did the edging is wonderful-very nice touch, his hair looks so smooth and his skin is perfect and the background kicks ass. it all just kicks ass. you are wonderful, i cannot say it enough! you rock!!

Lovely work on the hair! It looks so soft. Aside from the hair, very good work over all. It looks very photorealistic.
