When I was little little and watched this I was like 4 or 5 at the time I remember thinking he put somthing in his pants I though it was his crystal balls XD. Well there are some of those down there but I don't think they are crystal.

Is it slightly odd that I did notice this as a kid? I was a rather mature child (read my first young adult rated book at age 8).
I think they did notice, but they let it go. Things were a bit less strict back then.

Psh. That's nothing. You should have seen what he wore in the 70's as Ziggy Stardust. Suffice it to say, David Bowie has no problems with tight clothes.

I didn't notice his junk at all as a kid--it was only when I was grown I was like, "Heelllloooo, Jareth!"

Oh, and in the more recent documentary, Ben Froud said there was some controversy about Jareth's tight paints--but it was deliberate. Jareth was supposed to be a rock-star/enticing-devil-like being.

And ya, if you loved to ballet, and wearing tights and crappy shoes was the only way to do it, than yes I would ware them. But thankfully I've never had the desire to learn ballet.

Well my mom just force me and my sister to attend, she did that with us to play tennis, swimming, summer camp, I never like those but the one thing I like was doing soccer
