Description
Conceptual illustration based on George Orwel's Animal Farm.*Please download*
Community service project given to the Social Studies Department at my high school.
Print was 35" by 9" mounted and lamented. (This cost me $65, not to mention almost a month of work on the actual painting...urg...)
Pigs for P.I.G. class. How wonderful.
I'm so out of practice in drawing animals. I'm very sorry they look very grotesque...
Originally had "Viva la Revolucion"....shows the evolution of a tyrant. The chasing of the farmer and the transformation of a noble idea to complete devastation.
This is actually only 50% of the original size. Not enough memory....aha.

The 1950's animated one? I did watch that, I found it to be both distressing and disappointing.

Thank you.

It's such a classic, I was nervous about making something that would uphold it's own values...

I was forced to read it when I was a teenager in a high school English class. I used to feel really guilty for having English as my least favorite subject because I couldn't stand writing numerous analytical essays since I needed to be constantly assisted in writing them, as well as having to revise them.

Aha!
Yeah, that can do it to you.
Totally depends on so many different circumstances what an average English class will be like. For the same person you could love or hate it.

Thank goodness for staying in school, because doing so can help us expose ourselves to curricular material that amazes us so much it'll make us want to do homework!
