So deep are some secrets, that they are forgotten from the minds of those at the surface. However, a few might just stumble into the halls of history. As much as one can try to keep such hidden, some secrets will find their way into the light of day....

Whirlpool swarm towards his favorite seaweed collecting area, hoping to get a new crop for his fillyfriend's sushi shop. She had just ran out and needed Whirlpool was sent to get the good stuff at the bottom of Horseshoe Bay. The young stallion had to go deep for the seaweed, well into the realms of darkness.

The area around the seaweed crop was covered in a fine sand, a great area for the green streams to get the nutrients they needed. This particular variety here was the Redsoul kind, a rarity this area of the ocean. Whirlpool's eye caught something in the patch....

So...sorry for the short story. I didn't really want to spoil things for the vague story idea I have for this image. The basic idea is that a stallion named Whirlpool finds a weird statue in a place called Horseshoe Bay in the fictional pony nation of Neighly. Whirlpool himself is strange in that he can almost breath underwater and withstand great pressures.

As for the image itself, it has literally been sitting on my flash drive for a year now and I decided to play with a little bit and upload it here. I don't it's one of my better digital artworks, but what can say about something so long ago?
