PERSONAL INFORMATIONPersonality:
+   [ Intent ] Give them a concrete plan and a task to focus on and Arista will complete it to the best of their ability.  Having something to occupy their hands keeps them from getting anxious, and they can get so absorbed in their work that they won’t notice time passing or things around them that might normally terrify them.
+   [ Prepared ] Arista is very thoughtful when it comes to planning and, provided they’ve got enough information on what to expect, rarely approach a task without the right tools.  They’re decent at coming up with strategies provided they have enough time and a calm environment to do so, although executing them is far more difficult.
+   [ Loyal ] They have a strong loyalty to their friends, not necessarily organizations, ideals, or groups.  Arista’s more introverted nature makes it hard for them to form bonds with others, so they have few people in their life that they’re close with, and as such value those they have highly.

=   [ Quiet ] Arista doesn’t really like to talk much, unless they have something to say, but is a good listener.  They pay close attention to what goes on around them at most times and have a decent memory for those details.
=   [ Wary ] In most situations, Arista trends towards caution, and they prefer to have a moment to pause and consider their options before making a decision.  Generally, it’s more of a hindrance than anything else, but at least they tend to be the first to notice potential threats… even if their definition of what that might be is a bit broad.
=   [ Subdued ] They tend to be a rather humble person, avoiding bragging or showing off their skills - drawing attention to themself is undesirable, even if it’s positive attention.  Arista can sell themself short at times, however, and play down what they’re actually good at to avoid coming off as ‘arrogant’.

  -   [ Anxious ] By far one of Arista’s greatest struggles as a person is how anxious they are.  They struggle to make eye contact with people and tend to hesitate or freeze up in stressful situations, and talking to strangers is a sometimes insurmountable challenge.  They don’t like it and tend to be rather uncharitable towards themself, hating how difficult it makes doing what should be simple tasks.
  -   [ Terrified ] Arista is easily frightened.  Weapons, people who are taller than them, loud noises… no thanks.  All of that makes them stressed and uncomfortable.  They tend to flinch quite a bit, especially when those things are shoved into their face unexpectedly.  They usually just freeze up in horror, but can occasionally react by hitting the unwanted item.
  -   [ Introverted ] Crowded, loud, or otherwise busy spaces tends to make Arista extremely uncomfortable, and they prefer to spend time where it’s quiet and they don’t have to struggle to hear their own thoughts.  They tend to be uneasy around strangers, especially those who are aggressive or loud.

EXTRAIn Ironbrook, prior to May 504:
Arista doesn’t have much of a reputation, aside from being easily frightened, and most people in the Talons who know about them don’t expect them to make it far.  Outside of the organization, they’re known as one of the adopted children of Ivailo Automotive’s owners, Trifon and Genko Ognyan-Fyodorov.

Post-May 504:
One of the more surprising people to defect from the Talons recently.  Arista was always known for being skittish and easily frightened - not the sort of person who would have it in them to turn their back on the organization, knowing what the consequences would be.  They have thus far managed to evade capture, though there are some unconfirmed rumours about them getting killed in one of the confrontations between their group of defectors and the Talons in summer 504.

Extra notes:
  • Knows how to drive a car pretty well; ironically an aggressive driver despite their normally timid personality.
  • Ambidextrous.  Arista’s handwriting looks almost mechanical, as though it was printed with a typewriter rather than with a pencil.
  • Really likes large animals - provided they’re not aggressive - even though tall people terrify them.
    • Used to ride horses/spend time around large guard dogs their family used to protect the properties they kept their cars on.
  • They’re not particularly fond of their current career, but they’re terrified of disappointing their family and of the consequences of backing out now.
  • Easily spooked by ghost stories.
  • Likes to read.  Generally prefers the quiet over music, especially if there’s any other background noise, but sometimes turns the radio on at low volume when they’re alone.  Their parents expected them to be at least passable with creating art, so they are.
  • Their fathers own the Ivailo Automotive company; it largely creates military vehicles for Ironbrook’s army and the Talons but has a line for luxury and civilian use.  It’s a very successful business.  The company logo is a wolf.
  • The eye on the scarred side of their face is actually a prosthetic; Arista needs to take it out and clean it every so often.  Since leaving Ironbrook, they’ve been forced to pester the alchemists travelling with the group into making (and eventually teaching them) antibiotic potions to use as disinfectants.
