She had it pretty much down as of the end of "Luna Eclipsed", though. And "Sleepless in Ponyville" happens who-knows-how-long after.
Seriously, unless I missed something, it doesn't even have to occur earlier than Twilight's ascension. It's got no Twilight in it and no episodes dependent on it with the possible exception of "Flight to the Finish". Not to mention how that didn't look like late fall weather they were experiencing, and it certainly wasn't winter. It had to be at least six months between the two episodes. It doesn't take six months to learn new speech habits.
