Description
So I recently got back into my unhealthy obsession for cantabileGato's voice... Heck, I just love her covers so much. And it took me literally three days to figure out that "Do Things in your own Way" is a cover of "Fire to the Rain" by Adele.
In the end when I worked on some of the details, I listened to the Inception soundtrack and got really emotional. Gotta be careful with that music.

Anyway, that's how I got the inspiration for this painting in the first place. I tend to screw up really badly whenever I try to draw heavily foreshortened poses, but this time I was feeling ambitious, so I gave it a try. Still not comepletely happy with the result, though... ah well.
The first half of the process was made entirely in FireAlpaca because I wanted to experiment with some of that program's brushes (for example, the bubbles in the picture were mostly made with FA's particle brush!), but later I got a bit annoyed by its controls. It's just kind of hard to get into the zone when a certain feature doesn't work the way you're used to... Oh, and the program also got a bit laggy on my PC when I had 20+ active layers. So I finished the rest of the picture in Sai. ^^
