Trent and Shaggy became friends after an unfortunate accident outside the Morgendorffer's House (see A fortuitous Accident ). Trent happened to be passing by Shaggy's place on the way back from an Alternapalooza , and dropped in. He found that Shaggy's old buddy Forsythe Pendleton Jones (a.k.a "Jughead") was there at the time. They got to chatting and got real hungry, so in came the pizza.
