Your landscapes are so haunting and perfect, can you recommend any books/techniques/artists/etc. that you like? I'm just curious to know and understand your influences, and advice you care to share is greatly appreciated...

I mostly do animal portraits (charcoal/acrylic) and I am just now getting into landscapes, your casual realism and mood is exactly what attracts me to landscapes in the first place...I'm just very interested to hear your take on your process, virtually anything you want to comment about (specific technique, abstract philosophy, anything) is fine...
