Description
The sound mirrors at Dungeness, England. This 30 foot reflective audio dish was constructed between the world war wars in the days before RADAR. It points out looking over the English Channel as a defence against hostile aircraft. Back in lockdown (3 years ago) I decided to model the structure as a #3dprint . Left is a photograph which I took one year ago, centre the structure on #tinkercad and right, the 3D printed model. All dimensions were scaled for photographs and Google Maps.
