Oh gosh. xD I see what you're getting at, but I don't think that works all that well. It makes the neck way too long and ignores the angle of the rest of the body. It also completely takes out the shoulder bones.

I went with the idea that since I'm drawing talking cartoon horses I might as well axe off the realism aspect xD
So I made them into cats...
Then completely disregarded all the anatomy features that I didn't like as well.

Haha, yeah~ I'm kind of going a different direction - I've been drawing in a cartoony style for a long time, but I'm slowly starting to appreciate the more realistic side of things. Many of the artists I've started watching have more realistic styles too, so I figured I might as well give it a shot.
