Description

I started this painting back in April or May and, three-quarters of the way through, I lost all interest in finishing it. Unfortunately, as with most pieces that I stop working on for long periods of time, I'm not happy with how this looks now. However, part of my dissatisfaction towards this painting has to do with an event I've come to associate this painting with; the same event that caused me to lose interest in finishing it.
Rather than explaining the turn of events that this painting has come to represent, I'll express and summarize it in a poem:

A crucial chapter meets an end.
Slow-going fast friend.
Fanciful dreams with reality feud.
An abrupt U-turn, my heart subdued.

sorry, I'm not much of a poet I'll go into it more eventually, but I'm sure you get the idea.

Anyway--Hi, guys!! I finally have internet again! I've been really busy with art shows and the like these past couple months, so I'm hoping after this
final one (next weekend) I'll be able to make my full return to dA! I've missed it here and I've got some art to share!
