Description
Stylinodon was a Taeniodont mammal from the middle Eocene of North America. It was a bear-sized herbivore that specialized in processing tough vegetation. The reconstruction of the animal that I’ve seen on other sites, makes me think that this animal may have lived in a fashion similar to the naked mole rat of today, even being a subterranean creature as well given the small eyes it is believed to have had.
but of course this is just my own conjecture as a novice in the paleo world.
