Description Stylinodon was a Taeniodont mammal from the middle Eocene of North America. It was a bear-sized herbivore that specialized in processing tough vegetation. This is a detail of life-sized model that is on display at the Utah Field House in Vernal, Utah.

The reconstruction of the animal that I’ve seen on other sites, makes me think that this animal may have lived in a fashion similar to the naked mole rat of today, even being a subterranean creature as well given the small eyes it is believed to have had.
but of course this is just my own conjecture as a novice in the paleo world.
