Alright, so get this. ~DW-DeathWisH decided to come into my tavern, and challenge me to a one on one battle. The topic? Spidey and MJ, one in costume. To up the ante, I said they both had to be in costume.So, while watching the Graduate for about the 100th time, I had an epiphany, and BAM, here is the product.
Make sure to get in on the voting action when it goes up.

*edit* I cleaned up the stroke around MJ, and made it ever so slightly transparent... now I'm pleased.

the foot in the air is my favorite part...its perfect..i dunno what about it i like so much...the shading/lighting...the volume...the shape is dead-on..the droop of the excess fabric...way to go..good luck with the battle..either way, win or lose, youve got something to be proud of here..

I agree friggin awesome. lol only crit is her weight she feels alittle off balance. i guess the left foot should be positioned a little futher back to support the torso or head. but its so minor really. spiderman looks awesome back there.

yeah, I drew that foot in with illustrator during the inks, and was gonna fix it, but I figured her being off balance might add a bit more life to the pose, and I liked the idea of using the edge of the page as if she was using it for support. Could have pushed that more though. Anyways, thanks man. Glad ya like!

ye, never thought of it that way. Does give it more life in some ways!
The workload is going at a steady pace now. i got a bit of extension and the major rush is now over. at the pace i'll be going now, i should be finished in about 1-2 weeks. Phew it's almost over!

i love when artists put humor in their work(s). it makes it so much more interesting. in this case, the humor, to me, is that MJ is acting as any spouse would. she'd like to check out her man's work, or be by his side no matter what dangers are at stake.
