Description
The day had been overcast without an ounce of sunlight, and there was no sign of that changing. Most people had given up and headed back to their accommodation, but in the dying seconds when the sun hit the horizon, it found a break in the clouds and the sunlight travelled below the layer of clouds lighting up the rock. Then to top it off, the light misty rain gave us that magnificent full arc rainbow. I'm glad I waited it out!
Panoramic stitch of 8 photographs. For the sceptics out there, I assure you the rainbow is not photoshopped in!

I have never been anywhere with a flat enough landscape to see a whole rainbow like that. There's always trees... so many trees.... (I like trees, but they inhibit stuff like this...) Or else mountains...

Neither had I until this one, but I must be on a lucky streak as I saw another full arc rainbow just last fortnight above a wine/grape vineyard

Thank you. Sure can, there was a faint second arc (you can see it very faintly on the left also) but I was as wide as I could get vertically and even then I still had to stitch them together horizontally... ahh, it's moments like this I wish I had an ultra-wide lens!
