Initially, this was just for the blog, but I decided to share it here too. I have a real soft spot for these kids.

These are Kuiper's classmates, the only other children on the entire Antarctic continent. They're barred from outposts where the weather gets dangerous, which is why they all live in the climate-controlled capital city.

Left to right, we have Ravi (the athlete), Cade (the insecure one), Winnie (the nice kid), her twin sister Miriam (the gossip queen), and Tasha (the bubbly, creative one who loves pop music, unicorns, and rainbows). Their personalities get more complex than that, but those are the basic, first-impression facts. It'll be fun to draw their faces when they realize that the new kid is an Adarian-human hybrid.
