The perfect time to create something colorful like this! I love autumn and I already enjoyed taking pictures of the splendid nature. In this manip I used a couple of my photos and some stock.I am thinking about using this picture in the Eyes Calendar, too. I would replace one of the autumn pages with it. What do you think?
And the title? Persephone is not only the Goddess of the Underworld but also the Goddess of Fertility. Soon she is going down to the Underworld and will not return before spring.

I've taken a liking to all of your shots, you have an amazing eye. However, this picture has certainly gripped my attention. Although all of your shots contain amazing detail, the eye of this shot has caught me. Every little detail around it draws me in, and the details within the eye...simply breathtaking.

Well from 1-13 on the pages can't find anyone who's brought this up ( beautiful picture by the by ).
Persephone is more the maiden goddess. She's seen more as a child through most of the myths. Her mother, Demeter, is the goddess of fertility. I believe Persephone herself plays more of a role like Idun in Norse mythology, where she is youthful and holds a great amount of innocence, so I'm not sure she could be seen as fertility in spite of her eating the pomegranate, since pomegranates are signs of fertility.
Anyway, wonderful picture. It looks like poor Demeter is sending back her daughter in it.
