Everyone stood stunned at the display before them. A mighty Dusknoir standing before a dainty Bibarel dressed for Chitty Chitty Bang Bang was almost too much for the audience to handle, even the Magnemite crew, who had probably seen almost everything. Loretta, however, wasted no time.

Swinging her hips to an unknown beat and batting her eye lashes, she walked up to Mike and handed him a slip of paper. "Bi~" She cooed to him.

As if released from a curse, Mike instantly blinked and took the note from the other.

"It says," he started. "Bibarel Berry Company is the company for you! Offering only the best in berries and berry related process, our services are top notch in that we deliver straight to you, wherever you may be! Sign up for our services with our representative Shaina Lowe and receive a generous discount. If our company trainer, Charpie, manages to win this round, everyone gets a free T-shirt!"

"That a girl!" Shaina cheered. "Brilliant advertising!"

Charpie had a different thought. "What do you mean 'IF I MANAGE TO WIN'? Part of that depends on you!"

Something within Mike snapped, and suddenly, he realized what he was reading. "THIS IS AN OFFICIAL MATCH! NOT AN INFOMERCIAL!" He shouted into the mike. "NO MORE SHENANIGANS! THE BATTLE BEGINS NOW!"

With that, everyone snapped back into match, including Loretta's oppressive opponent, Nighthead, who went immediately for the preoccupied Bibarel with Dynamic Punch.

Charpie also snapped into action. "PAY ATTENTION LORETTA! DEFENSE CURL!"

Mike barely managed to move out of the way as the Dusknoir struck, sending a cloud of smoke up into the air.

"The Dusknoir took advantage and went straight for the blow," Mike narrated, as he waited for the smoke to clear. "Looks like there wasn't enough time for the Bibarel though. Could it be an instant KO?"

Please don't be out, please don't be out, Charpie chanted over and over in her head. The smoke was taking forever to settle but eventually she saw a rounded ball below the opponent.

"Not bad. Let's see if we can turn the tables. LORETTA GET HIM WITH HEADBUTT!"

"BI!" Loretta went straight for the kill, taking a dramatic leap and striking with her head, only to fall right through the pokemon and land on her own head.

Charpie winced. "What happened? That was perfect!"

Keani smirked. "Are you an idiot? Dushnoir's are resistant against normal attacks."

Charpie's eyes widened. She had completely forgotten that and it was going to cost her.

"Nighthead, use Dynamic Punch again."

As Loretta got up, Nighthead swung straight for her face, sending her flying into the water of the canal.

"Dammit Loretta be okay!" Charpie called as she ran to the canal's edge, looking for the pokemon. A few seconds later, the outrageous flower cap appeared with a very confused owner. Charpie sighed, being confused was bad, but at least she wasn't completely out.

"Loretta, try getting him with a water gun!"

Wobbling back and forth, Loretta tried to find her target and shoot, but instead she found herself face to face with the wall, connecting with a loud CRACK.

"Hahahaha….she's so pathetic," Keani laughed. Some in the audience agreed and laughed along with the surfer.

"Looks like the Bibarel is suffering from a serious case of confusion as she gives herself a serious headache," Mike explained to those that couldn't see.

Dammit, dammit, dammit! Charpie screamed over and over in her head. She had completely screwed herself and Loretta over. It was bad that Nighthead's resistance only limited Loretta to one offensive move but it was worse that the Bibarel was thoroughly confused and hurting herself in battle. One more hit and chances were she would be out.

"Nighthead, finish this!" Charpie was right. All it took was one more blow and Loretta was floating in the water.
