'Gappa'

OH YEAH. My favorite Monster movie outside of the Toho series. I don't know why but it is MY personal opinion that Gappa is FUCKING AWESOME!
Maybe its that orchestral theme song featured in the trailer and near the end of the movie; its fucking beautiful.

The thing about it is, this movie was meant to be a comedic parody of the Godzilla series while basically remaking Gorgo. I see some parts that are meant to be funny, but I don't think it worked as a comedy as most of the Destruction is on-par if not Better than Godzilla's. It's actually a tragedy that Gappa has not been renewed in any form, or has never made it onto a top 10 giant movie monsters list. But hey, Gappa is my favorite.
