My cat loves the laser pointer. But I haven't gotten a new one since the last one broke...he doesn't seem to miss it, but I get him toys and stuff and he'd rather run around the house like a maniac and sit in boxes and under the wicker rocker etc. He loves catnip mice and bottle caps. But he seems to forget there's more places to play with them than right under my feet/the couch...then he loses them under it and forgets they're there.

In my house you really can't stop the progress!
My cat used love her old toys, but ever since I got the laser pointer.... Β Well, she now goes nuts chasing the little red dot, and as for her old toys, she looks at them as if saying "meh!! so last year!"
