oh I love love this (because I adore octi's hehe) the girls pose is awesome (especialy the stiff, upturned hands!) also, I really love her face. The octi is so adorable! The balloons are a cute touch.

I dont know if you'll believe this, but I was drawing a picture today and it was very similar to the picture that you've displayed. There was an octopus on a girls head and it was holding a tooth brush, and the girl had a star on her face. I've seen this picture awhile ago and I think I was indirectly pulling the image from my head. There are also many differences, like in styles, but if I ever post it I'll give you credit for the idea.
I really like this picture. The expression on this girls face is priceless and the octopus is adorable. The coloring is fantastic also.

after kind of browsing around all of your pics, I've noticed a distinct inversion of colors for shading areas... Green-on-orange, blue-on-red... and it helps to deepen the feel of the color... BRILLIANT!
