To gain complete creative freedom over my agents of S.O.B.E.C universe (www.deviantart.com/logbot03/ar… ), I decided to take things to the next level and create a map of this alternate version of Earth, where I also showed the cities which I already mentioned in my previous post. Some countries are similar to ours, for example: Machiavellia is similar to Italy and Stallenia is similar to Russia, but they have completely different stories and their conditions are rather different, Machiavellia is plagued by gang wars between the Rubino crime family and the Midas crime syndicate which respectfully rule over its two island: Ruberia and Cartago.
While Stallenia is much smaller due to his poor management during WW2, but now it’s economy is flourishing due to this country being the main producer of metal in the world. Neronia is culturally similar to Romania, but it’s also one of the most technologically advanced countries, or at least it was before a terrorist organization known as “The Pack” took over. The surrounding countries of Esklebia and Tenebrarum are also being secretly controlled by the Pack, although the countries of Aatiteakan and Mokhramah are still resisting. The USA, here called New India have also gone tremendous changes. In this Universe George Washington never existed and instead the states were brought Together by another real life individual: Camillo Benso count of Cavour. In this Universe Cavour is a decayed noble man who escaped Révolutió ( our France) after their revolution were nobles were executed. Once in New India he was able to arrange an army and helped the colonies in becoming independent and under the same flag, with his death however, the dream died too, and terrible governments inevitably made the various states become independent countries, after their only great leader, one of the new countries have been named Cavour. Canada has also received major changes as it has now been placed where South Africa is as Canadafrica. The climate is pretty much the same due to it being near the South Pole. Due to its past as a giant prison, I renamed Australia Alcatraz, unfortunately due to its deadly cold weather, the only place on the island that can be inhabited is Leviathan Bay. The Permafrost zone in Northern America is also a frozen wasteland and not a country. Rhode Island is also not an island in this universe and hosts the most important dock in New India. Europe is now called Imperia after the conquests of the Roman Empire which has left its mark in many countries, especially in the country of Natureza, known for its many archeological sites and oak forests.
The country of Jabalmuquadas was recently taken over by the extremist religious group known as “Matrad”, which forced many to emigrate away, now they are trying to expand towards the country of Khach’Mard which assisted many of the people who escaped the Matrad. There is another war going on between the countries of Supova and Esmago, due to the latter of the two having a huge deposit of Uranium at its hands. The continent of Saurasia, which is our Africa, is considerably poor with the exception of the previously mentioned Canadafrica, Khach’Mard and Jabalmuquadas, one of these underdeveloped countries is Kharaca, the only one that isn’t affected by the drought that afflicts most of the central part of the continent.
In this universe, Portugal and Spain are united in the country of Roxia, but the northern area is another separate country called “Balcania”. This two countries are divided from the rest of Imperia by a river which has a high concentration of salt, giving a reddish color. However the main producer of salt in the whole world is Saltvand, which produces so much salt, that their houses are made of it. There are no big cities in Saltvand, but their salt villages are certainly a sight to see. Another country with a strange quirk to it is Mirallia, a country known for its porcelains and glass decorations. Mirallia is also known for its huge skyscrapers with decorated glass windows. The country of Utopia hosts the world largest city: Heaventropolis, where S.O.B.E.C’s headquarter is, but the name is nothing but a farce since its government is just a puppet used by Midas and the Rubino family to hide their shady businesses and constant turf wars. Bermuda now a country where there is a very particular biome: a frost jungle ( similarly tropical plants adapted to a cold environment). The iconic triangle is also now a pentagram and full of Icebergs that makes traveling through it extremely dangerous. The nearby country of Astralia hosts the most important space agency in the world: S.N.A.R ( space navigation and astronomical research). The country of El Dorado is actually the mythical city where an advanced tribe of Native Americans lives, similarly to Marvel’s Wakanda. Another important country of New India is Boogland, colonized by the Saurasian slaves freed by Lincoln ( who wasn’t assassinated in this universe). Nowadays is a pretty stable country, but it was recently struck by an attack of the terrorist organization known as Spiral, who operates in the country of Conquera ( similar to Argentina in culture), which came under their control as it was struck by an economic crisis.
Japan in this universe is called Gōrudorando and it’s much larger, but it’s story remains pretty much the same including the atomic bomb tragedy of WW2 which instead hit one of its nearby islands turning it into an unexplored wasteland. High India is the home of one of the main characters, or at least it was until Spiral burnt down her town ( all of this is explained in the first post), but it’s also the place where many forgotten laboratories are hidden.
Ginestra is a country built on what remains of a huge vulcano that exploded during its eruption that happened millennia ago, now the soil is as fertile as ever, despite its black color. Victoria is similar to the UK, but national security is secretly backing up the plans of Baron Zero, who owns the nearby island of Nightingale, so the Victorian citizens are constantly under control without even knowing it. There isn’t much to say about the other countries, yet, but I’m still pretty satisfied of this worldbuilding that I’m doing so hopefully you’ll enjoy as much as I do.
