While sketching the supporting cast of my Spider-Man project, I thought that Mayday had only one female villain, so I decided to dig deep into Spider-Man rouges and find one. So I found out that Coldheart was a character, and I thought the concept was similar to Curare from Batman Beyond, but with an over the top costume and an even cooler gimmick, seriously this villain deserves to be considered more.

Bio
After Spider-Girl’s encounter with Canis, the mysterious figure that works behind the curtains, decided that she must be eliminated, so he/she/they sent Pomodoro to Bulgaria to contact an old friend of his, Kateri Deseronto.
Kateri was an assassin known as Coldheart that used to kill superhumans that used their powers to become heroes and villains after her son and husband died during a fight between two of these super beings. Coldheart however was about to retire and start anew, as a personal trainer, and was also trying to start a family again. Pomodoro was able to convince her, promising this was to be her last job as a mercenary. So Kateri traveled to America and equipping her sword powered by liquid nitrogen, she set after Spider-girl, she found her as she was stopping a break-in in at a grocery store. With her blue and yellow armor she was difficult to not spot her, but this distracting color palette isn’t just for fashion, as it’s meant to distract the target from the various traps she sets. In this case she also had the support of the robbers, who thought this was their chance to squash the Spider. Mayday barely made it out, forcing herself to leave the robbers to pillage, but Coldheart was on her trail. The only reason Mayday got away, was because the mercenary was learning her moves, the heroine however figured it out, and decided to take precautions before going out at night again. Coldheart played with her pray for a whole week, making Mayday more and more stressed and nervous as time passed, until she was able to lead her right were she wanted: an old Oscorp deposit full of liquid nitrogen. The fight was exhausting, but thanks to some homemade flamethrowers on her wrists, Mayday contrasted her assailant’s frozen hits until she dodged a lunge attack of the villain’s blade, which sunk deep into one of the container, heavily burn her arm, forcing her to leave behind her weapon and flee. Kateri later found out that her hand had gained the property of her former weapon. After being later healed by Pomodoro and given prosthetic skin to cover her lethal touch, she swore to take revenge on Spider-girl. Coldheart never attacks in broad day light, and always tries to avoid unnecessary deaths, her hand can now cut through everything leaving only an icy trace behind.
