Description
These characters were drawn based on their description in the book “ True Story”.
Since these guys are based around pumpkins and described as Savages, I gave them pumpkin masks and roughly put together clothes to give a weird tribal vibe, that I emphasized by putting a temple inside their ships

The Colocintopirates are a population that lived in the small islands near the island of Ogygia were the immortal Calypso resides in complete loneliness. These people however are far more aggressive than Calypso, gathering what they need by pillaging and attacking every ships that pass near their territory.
Their ships are made from the giant pumpkins that grow on their island.
The process from which they create their ships is rather long but fairly simple: they remove the pulp from the pumpkin and they let it dry. Once the pumpkin is completely dried out, they start to adjust it to become a ship, using huge canes as the ship masts and the pumpkin’s leaves as sails. That attack other ships by throwing giant sharpened pumpkin seeds, and if they are close enough they start to jump on the enemy ship.
They’re arch enemies are another group of pirates called, the Carionauts, who use half of a walnut shell as a boat.
