I was wondering for the longest time if I should have waited to make a DA account since I had no good, recent material to submit. However, I recently dug through an old envelope I keep all my drawings in and I found some pretty decent stuff.Now these are from a few years ago, so they're not as good as I can do now, but they are good enough for me to submit for now.
The other good thing about these is that people can see what my art USED to look like before I post my recent stuff.

Jumping into the action is a good hook. So is setting the scene. I tend to make my stories start out with either, usually seeming generally normal until some supernatural stuff happens

Yeah a few. Some are schizophrenic, others are just heartless sociopaths. I even have one guy who isn't necessarily antisocial, but he acts like he is.

Grim reapers are always fun. My newest story includes a demon that's half Shinigami, so he's like a grim reaper.

It's so good, all my friends are coming over for a sleepover and we're gonna watch the whole thing. And what's that one about?

Yu-yu hakusho is about a rude junior high student who dies saving a kid from getting hit by a car. He then goes to the spirit world and gets a second chance to live under the condition that he becomes the "spirit detective" of earth. Once he's brought back to life he has to defeat powerful demons to save the world of the living and send them back to the spirit world.
