Were his world more plain?
The clever fool falls as much
As he stands and walks.
He ponders everything
Twice its allotted time
As if all had
Both reason and rhyme.
Watch as he despairs.
Watch as he tries.
Watch as he fails,
And then almost dies.

Will you save the clever boy,
Who sits alone
And in failure
Toils?
Or will you watch him as he drowns
A s a sea of knowledge
And loneliness
Him surround?
