Damn man, thats coldΒ Β Β Β Β Β Β Β "Monsterfest" for sure, shes gonna suck the life outta that guy and leave him thinking she was the best thing that ever happened to him.
Thats what all green-eyed red-headed women with smokin` hot bods do (oh yeah, and wear pointy hats, carry around brooms, screech and carry on in shriekingly high pitched voices)
and have you noticed they are also always bringing up sex?
Yeah I know nothing wrong with that but I swear to god just once, one time after hearing one hiss out loud the words "I'm Gonna Hex YOU, Hex You Good" that they would tell me what that means. Instead they sayΒ "duh, Sex you up, silly boy. Hexes are for witches"
But I know I'm right they are witches, I can prove it..they are always cooking some concoctions up, but I never remember what it wasΒ Β Β Β Β oh swellΒ Β O wait did I tell you she said 'SEX YOU UP?'
Story out of insanity...AWESOME and Inspiring work yet again Sir LOOP,
P.S.
also I would like to place an order for the use of your skills, on that day when the dream of technology is finally and fully realized. That day long dreamt of when android women will free the men of this earth. I would like you to make her the most bestest looking one.Β

Awesome Dave...would love to see that cardboard cutout.
Maybe you'll be able to get a shot of yourself next to it?

I have a photo of the client next to it, but its a long drive to the festival opening, so I'll probably miss out on a photo of my self with it. It does look pretty cool in the photo though!
Cheers Randy!

That's cool Dave.
As long as someone is next to it to give it a sense of proportion.
You can always photoshop yourself in place of the client though...
All my best to you,
Take care

Mr Green monster does have a drooling problem... he's had it ever since he was young. His friends hardly notice it any more, but it is kind of telling that they always carry a couple of clean towels with them when they pop in for a visit at his place.
Cheers ma'am!

Its done! Easiest and cheapest way for you to get a copy would be from the publisher in the US. If you pick up a copy, let me what you think...

Absolutley great, Dave! Would be real cool to see snaps of the cut-out, or the posters, in-situ. Any chance? Always interesting to see how artwork is converted into real life applications.

Thanks Russ! I have a photo of the client with the giant cut out in an email somewhere... I'll probably post it on my 'art of Loopydave' facebook page sometime soon... and I'm expecting to see some photos from the festival opening night.
I'm with you... it IS interesting to see how artwork works in real life.
Cheers!

Ooooooooooh.....and wheeeeeeeeeeee! and WOWOWOWOW....I love it. Especially theΒ green rim lights and her subtly arched eye brow. I'm completely in love with red hair - try always to get a red head into any colouring I'm doing and this one is a particularly lush colour Β

While not taking away from this fantastic artwork. For some reason when I see this piece my mind fills in Mako mori from Pacific Rim in the arms of a human sized Kaiju. And shes like "Sorry guys but he's fantastic!"

I'm yet to see Pacific Rim, but I'm sure I'll be imagining this poster when I do now

EdGarcia In reply to Loopydave [2013-11-11 23:07:36 +0000 UTC]
I highly recommend Pacific Rim. I don't know your Anime tastes but they also incorporate subtly dozens of Anime tropes and many similar character concepts from the 70's and 80's that it left me smiling. If you didn't know the tropes it was still worthy in it's own right and knowing the tropes, they still didn't force feed them to you, they handled them as if they were real people under tough circumstances.

7 foot tall? doesn't it make the file size huge and hard to work? o_o
That's an amazing illustration for a poster for a monster fest, great work! : D

Loopydave In reply to LeoneSimonetti [2013-11-11 12:40:11 +0000 UTC]
I think the file was about 9000 pixels high or something... enough detail to print that kind of size, but still me workable. Once did an image at 20,000 pixels and my computer didn't like that much at all!
Cheers!
