SOOOOO i hate the film, love the books, have been dying to draw the characters for ages and now i finally have!! xDi've not done all of them obviously but i want to see what people think of the main characters so i figured i'd upload these just now =w=
just to explain: murtagh brom and maybe eragon v2.0 i am happy with, maybe angela too. Eragon i think looks too young or just doesn't feel as eragon-ish as i wanted him to look ^^' and i think Arya looks too made up here
but i'd like to know what people think so feel free to say whatever you like ^^
I think Eragon wears a cloak in my head because it's fantasy, he travels, and when you travel in fantasy stories you wear cloaks,.... you just do O-O
Brom just suits a cloak methinks. Also the one thing i did actually love about the film was Jeremy Irons as Brom, since i think he's perfect image and personality-wise so i picture him like Irons ^^
Angela, i kind of pictured her mad and witty, so i don't know if that comes across here, but yeah, she's mad and witty and generally brilliant.
Arya and Murtagh just from the book description ^^
the v2.0 thing is because in the book eragon is changed at one point, and is actually enhanced and made more elf-like. so his features are described as becoming more angular and his ears pointed. In fact i think there's a quote - something about him now being "more beautiful than any man, but more rugged than any elf"? haven't read them in AGES though so i'll need to get back into them again ^^'
planning to draw the rest of them, once i have time and once i remember who else is in the books ^^' -shot-
i will re-read them i swear! QAQ

being excited about just the date itself is kind of strange xD but kind of cool too
i can't really think of anything with numbers that i have a weird thing for...
other than how i just do not like groups of even numbers and if i buy things in games, i usually have to buy in 3's or 5's xD but i've heard a lot of people do that

Sometimes I picture characters way differently
than how the book describes them. XD

yeah same! quite often if the main character is narrating it i sometimes give them brown hair or blue eyes like me (because it's me reading it in my head, my brain relates them to me), even if it says they have something different xD same with if my friend or something in real life had the same personality, i would sometimes picture the character like my friend xD but maybe that's just me

Omg awesome!! I like the more-human Eragon better though. They all look great! And I agree, Jeremy Irons was amazing! He being in it was about my favorite part of the movie. He was so perfect for Brom! Just his appearance, his voice, everything! Brilliant casting for him! They all look amazing! Great job!! I have to say again: I love your style!!! Nice work!!

I agree with you on the movie. It sucked, they completely ruined everything! (Saphira looked cool though, but the rest sucked.) They didnt get ANYTHING right!!! I MEAN CMON!

YESS total fail of a movie ¬3¬ (and yeah saphira did look cool, the only thing i wasn't keen on was her feathery wings instead of the bat-like dragon wings from the book xD) but yeah the urgals in particular annoyed me - in the book they were big green ugly orc-like things with horns and spikes and whatnot. In the film they were chunky bald guys with facepaint and random dots stuck on their heads...
pff lol no it's fine! rant away! xD i could rant on this film forever seriously xD
and thank you!! OwO seriously so relieved people like eragon xD i was thinking i'd mucked him up but i'll keep him like that ^^

I agree about the feathers, i imagined her wings more spikey and stuff, not like an oversized bird. XD
When i saw the Urgals i was like "Wait...what? Why are there half naked guys with face paint walking around.....oh. They're suppose urgals......fail" I remember i ranted about the movie for like an hour to my friend XD Oh god, why do people always screw up good books and make them into fail movies (harry potter was pretty good in the movies) . Another complete fail of a movie is Percy Jackson and the Olympians. They screwed that one over more than they screwed Eragon (if that is possible -.-)
One of the only parts i liked about the Eragon movie was Murtagh. Garrett Hedlund is quite attractive though he had a total of 2 lines and 5 minutes in the movie. I mean c'mon!!!!

pff lol i agree with everything you have just said xD harry potter was one of the only decent ones (that and lotr, though i haven't actually read the books, just the films were really good anyway) and i agree with Percy Jackson, i actually saw the film first and though "hmmm that wasn't half bad (because of the general demi-god questy plotline), i should read the books!" two days ago i read the first book and was like "wait what!? that film is totally different!! D8<" i mean i know they should be treated separately because apparently the director deliberately changed a lot of it to work for film (so it was definitely based off the book rather than retelling it) which i don't mind so long as they admit they are completely changing things, but seriously the whole freakin plot was changed!! >8C
Though i am more annoyed at the eragon movie because it just missed out stuff for no reason other than budget >8C like the urgals - the production team should've spent the money to make convincing urgals rather than just changing them because they're not as important, that's the only reason other than time that i could think of for why they would change the look of the urgals so much ¬¬ i mean what would harry potter be like if they did half-assed jobs on the mythical creatures!? ugh annoys me so much =3= (sorry for the rant btw xD)
Lol totally agreed aswell =w= though i did love jeremy irons as brom (since he did the voice for scar in the lion king i had automatic respect for him, but he actually made a really good brom i thought ^^). i actually forgot Garrett played murtagh when i saw him in tron and thought he looked familiar xD but yeah he should've had more screen time =3=

Haha, and when i saw Arya, i just laughed so hard. In the movie, all Arya practically did was just lie on the ground and moan in pain XD
My friend red the books, but she didnt see the movie. I just ranted for like an hour! XD
Ooh, i havent seen LOTR. When i was little i saw a part of it. The horses where getting killed by dragons 
When i saw the movie i was so exxcited! I was like "OMG! PERCY JACKSON! WHEEEE! YAYAY! " During the movie i kept on pointing out what they did wrong to my grandma (she went with me to the movies). But Logan Lerman was a good choice for Percy 
Everything comes down to money these days. Kinda a despressing world. Money money money. Thats all that most people care about. -.-

OAO but they're AWESOME!! they're like a more advanced version of eragon i'd say, only less about the dragons, more about the fighting the evil dark lord.... so more like harry potter then xD -shot- i went to see the last one in the cinema when it came out, it was so cool xD but yeah i understand, i think i had one of those phases, only it was with dragons XD but you should watch them now, if you like eragon you'd love LOTR OvOb

Logan Lerman...mmm...heh heh. Dreamy. Annabeth was a complete fail! I mean get it right peoples!!!! Alexandra Daddario (or however you spell it ) looked NOTHING like Annabeth! I was so angry of that casting choice! GRRR!!
I always thought that a simple life would be cool. Like living off the land without the worry of money and pop culture and stuff. I always liked that idea. But the problem is that im too adapted to life in the city 
Following that thought "Rest of Eragon screen writers, cast, director, and anyone else involved in the making, you're all fired." I feel very satisfied now XD
