YAY! Finally Finished!
this is for the 100 theme challenge (finally found out what it was called
) on i actually didn't know the rules at first and asked to draw a pic with the theme "rebirth" not realising that you had to PICK from the themes ALREADY THERE rather than MAKE UP YOUR OWN
but "breathe again" fit (kinda) and i didn't have to change my idea for the pic that much. at first when i thought of it i was like "good idea, very abstract" but now i think it might be a bit too abstract
if it is too abstract (probably is) basically the pic is atemu (obv) in the middle and the left is supposed to be egypt and the right - japan, hes "breathing again" because (as all yugioh watchers know) he was trapped inside the millenium puzzle until he was released by Yugi Motou and was allowed to temporarily "share" his body
so he was kinda reborn ..... kinda 
i tried to make the left make look like water, but epically failed. i dunno why i tried though, water has nothing much to do with anything, but i guess it would have made him appear to be "breathing" more after he was "reborn"
wow, look at me being all abstract and arty and poetic-like
there is no way in hell i am usually like this.... i must be ill or something

and yeh sorry about the proportions - i know they're off but i'm trying to get better at drawing human body structures and forms etc. but yes thank coz i actually find it helpful sometimes when people agree with you on what can be made better so i'll definitely practice more!
but i'm a bit confused about the mixed media thing

Actually i just meant that the lineart quality wasn't clean and it was gritty, as if you did it on paper instead of on photoshop or something. Digital art has really clean line art so sketchy art is a big no no

ah, now i know what you mean 
and could you recommend the best digital art software? i know photoshop is probably the most popular but it is very expensive and i was wondering if there was a better one that was cheaper. My program crashes quite a lot, it may be my computer but i want to get a new program anyway so any advive would be much appreciated

Paint tool SAI is VERY popular right now and i think it may be free. I actually think what it offers is meant for your style of art and its the program used by anime arists. Yeah photoshop is good but personally i find it best for art based around realism and semi realism due to its effects. But yeah give it a try
