Torch stepped out of the house she was being held in. Clementine had told her several times not to go outside but Clem hadn't yet dared to actually tell her why. It was day now, which seemed to be a rare occurrence this time of year. Torch looked around a bit but saw no danger ahead.walking around through the forest a bit Torch heard footsteps of another creature. Something that seemed way bigger then she was. and it was moving quickly into her direction. She froze. Before her stood a huge orange creature. She suddenly remembered something Sparks talked about once, Jaowls. Could this be one of them? The Jaowl seemed confused, tilting his head while looking at Torch. Torch did the same. maybe this creature meant no harm? Then, however, the Jaowl roared at her and then used his giant claw to hit her. Her body landed again a tree and her vision became blurry. the last thing she saw was the Jaowl walking away, no longer interested in her.

Clementine nervously looked around her house counting the kids once again. It couldn't be... Who was missing? Sparks was there, and so was Nicole. Skull, maybe? He'd already tried to escape twice. No, Skull was over there. She didn't even notice Sparks walking up to her until the small boy spoke "miss, have you seen Torch anywhere? I haven't seen her for a while." The child sounded worried about his friend so Clem smiled "I'm sure she is fine Sparks." Clementine then walked over to the window. Looking outside she saw a Jaowl standing a bit away. Strange. but what was even stranger was the dull glow just behind the creature. Almost like a lava lamp. Clementine gasped and ran outside as soon as the Jaowl lost interest. She pushed her nose against Torch a few times trying to wake her up but it seemed she was unconscious. She quickly tried to use her magic to heal Torch up a bit and then rushed back in her house holding the lavaling.
