Destiny let out a wild laugh as the wind blew threw her hair. She was currently riding her dragon, Zenak. Her emerald green eyes matched the short sleeve shirt she was wearing. Her dagger poked her leg slightly, but she didn't care. She was happy riding Zenak on this beautiful day. The sky was as clear as a crystal, no birds were out flying, which was good, and Destiny still had another few hours before she really needed to be anywhere.
Destiny pulled the reins to a sharp right, and that's where Zenak went. She landed him in an open field, and she slid off. Zenak whipped his mighty head around to face her. 'Are you sure it's safe Master?' Destiny heard in her head.
"Nope, but i'm exploring anyways!" She said, and laughed. Zenak only rolled his eyes at her. She laughed, then immediately got quiet when she heard the roar of another dragon. Zenak good a step forward, and covered Destiny with his wing. He roared back, and Destiny heard the beating of another pair of dragon wings. She couldn't see anything, but she heard the dragon land a good 20 yards away. Zenak roared at the dragon, and Destiny heard a male voice call out.
"No need to get crazy now."When the deep voice spoke, Destiny's heart fluttered, but she didn't know why. Zenak's wing tried to move her back, but Destiny peeked around. She almost died when she saw the man who spoke. He had short hair, dirty blonde. It wasn't too short though, fell to around his ears. His eyes were piercing blue, and surrounded by many, dark, long eyelashes. He was relatively tall and buff, but not so much that it was scary. His attire wasn't that unusual for a dragon rider. Long brown pants, cowboy boots, long sleeve shirt, in dark gold. Destiny just didn't like long sleeves as much.
"Hello.." Destiny muttered to the man. He waved, and his dragon moved up behind him. That was the first time she'd noticed the beast. It was pure white, except for the tip of it's tail, witch was black. Her own dragon was a dark green, and some white/grey. His feet and nose were a mix of white and grey spots. Each dragon were about fifty meters high, and that's just the back.
"Hi. I'm Aaron. This is Snow, by the way. May I ask, why you're on my property?" He said, his deep voice making her weak in the knees. He didn't sound angry, just curious, and almost like he was worried for her.
"This is your property? I'm sorry, I just landed him wherever.." She said quietly. He nodded, and clicked her tongue. Snow bent down so he could mount.
"Follow me.." He said, and waited for Destiny to mount before taking off. She took after him, and they didn't fly far before they came to a small house with a huge barn. Huge was an understatement. It was large enough to fit three dragons piled on top of each other, and still have room leftover. Aaron guided his dragon there, and Destiny followed close behind. They landed by the barn, and the doors opened on their own. They walked in, and Destiny slid off Zenak. She walked around to his head, and gave him a small kiss on the nose. 'Be careful child. We don't know if this man and his family is dangerous.' Zenak said with concern. She nodded to him, then walked over to Aaron.
"So, what exactly are we doing...?" She asked quietly. He laughed, and looked at her.
"Well, I'm taking you to see my family.. They'll know what to do with you.." He said, and grabbed her hand. Zenak roared angrily, but didn't make a move to hurt Aaron. Destiny followed Aaron to the small family house. The family was having a nice conversation when they walked in. There was a father, mother, and two boys at the table. They looked up when Aaron and Destiny entered. They smiled at Aaron, then finally noticed Destiny. One of the brothers dropped his fork in shock, then all hell broke lose.
