No amount of traveling could numb Luca and Cairn to the bird's eye view of the hundred mile ravine. They'd seen it sporadically due to its distance from anything civilized. This time they would sit and wait until the sun set in front of them, lighting the valley in orange flame, and leave as the stars came.
