Software used: ApophysisUgh. I think I did something wrong with the cylinder variation. I got some other stuff to do but I couldnt resist trying this splits-elliptic style

how hard is the program to use?

It takes a few years to get really familiar with it. Pretty hard I guess, about 100 times harder than adobe photoshop, for example.
