Software used: ApophysisUgh. I think I did something wrong with the cylinder variation. I got some other stuff to do but I couldnt resist trying this splits-elliptic style

I kind of had the same problem. I was really trying to reproduce the the first finished image in SaTaNiA tutorial. It was extremely frustrating.

Well, I guess you shouldn't upload the exactly same image, changing gradient isn't enough... but that's just my opinion

This one is so awesome. Would you mind sharing some tips on your technique, and which variations did you use besides the cylinder variation? Also what is a splits-elliptic style?

Thank you, I basically followed the tutorial [link] on splits elliptic style, and made some tweaking. I think you can get the idea pretty well from the tutorial
