Software used: ApophysisI feel like screaming, I want to fly but something's holding me.
EDIT February 15, 2012: On the concept.
Many people find the concept dull or not very original.
It "just" expresses my current state of mind. I have autoimmune thyroid disease which affects my daily life.
I say I wish to fly but actually I want a lot less. I just want to be healthy and strong again.
So the shapes basically describe the longing to be free and the illness that holds me. Colors are mix of resignation and fierce anger.

Сочетание цветов просто потрясающее! В этой работе гармонично абсолютно всё, начиная с композиции и идеи, заканчивая освещением, подбором цвета , подачей. Кажется, я могу смотреть на нее бесконечно! I like your motifs and how you carry them out. They're kind of abstract but static at the same time - I call that magic. I hope you'll keep that magic all the time but still develop in your abilities.

I was just scrolling through the browse page, and this came up. I can not help but to adore the perfect pinks and purples you used! I love when people use pink and purple together. The shapes are beautiful!!! The details are breath taking! I know you want to be healthy and strong again. Every one who falls sick or has an illness wishes to become strong once more. I've always wanted to fly, too. That's why it was so great discovering the fractal wing that I use for my sig.
As for 'originality' good artists copy, great artists steal. You are a good artist. You use Santania's tutorial to express something that was burning to come out. Bravo!
