Description
This is Annabelle, a 35-year-old wife and mother of two... fur babies. She's also one of the main characters in a VN I've been working on.

Annabelle is an assistant store manager at a big retail chain. She started working there fresh out of high school as a lowly bakery employee but has worked her ass off and climbed the latter to get where she is today. Now, she brings home the bacon, as her husband will tell anyone willing to listen.

Speaking of husband, Annabelle met hers in middle school. They were friends for years, but nothing happened until she decided to contact him via social media about a year after graduating from high school. They started dating, got married a couple of years later, and have been together for nearly 15 years, now. She loves her husband, but always felt like something was missing.

One day, a family (a 38-year-old woman and her 21-year-old stepdaughter) moved into the newly constructed house next door. She had no idea, but becoming friends with her new neighbors would be the turning point in all of their lives.

Shortly after Annabelle introduced the daughter, Chloe, to her husband, something strange started happening. Annabelle, her husband, Chloe, and Chloe's stepmom, Natasha, started experiencing both physical and mental transformations.

I'm still in the early stages of writing (even though I've been working on it for over a year, now), so I don't want to give too much away. But, let's just say that there is a long-forgotten Viking myth (completely of my own imagination) that will eventually explain everything.
