Description: Thornpaw is a mostly-brown she-cat with darker stripes and patches on her neck and rump. She also has darker back paws and base of the tail. Black tufts edge her large ears and the end of her tail, while offwhite lies underneath this black tailtip along with her chest, stomach and lower jaw. A black stripe crosses her chest and a black smear is seen on her chin. A slightly darker brown 'helmet' can be seen on her head. She has green eyes, her left one being cloudy to mark its blindness. She has found a way to bring her long fur over it in order to hide it, as it is a root of her self consciousness. She has long, messy fur that often has various bits of debris mixed into it due to her lack of self care, however she does purposefully put three flowers of varying color as well as a thrush's feather on the left side of the long fur on her head, marking the lives of Marigoldkit, Rosepaw, Robinthroat and herself. Many scars cross her pelt, so thick that not even her pelt can cover them. She has a single off-white forepaw, that being her right. One large ear is also half-torn, resulting in the top half falling over. She has an abnormally long, thick tail that tends to interfere with her steering while swimming.

PERSONALITY

Fluent
Thrushpaw has a very well-versed tongue. Unlike most cats her age, Thrushpaw speaks mostly in long words, making most of her speech hard to understand and comprehend. She doesn't like having to explain herself, so most of the time others are left wondering what she had said. She would stop this if she could, but it has become a habit and she has become used to it like some of her clanmates.
Tactical
Thrushpaw, being an intellectual such as herself, has a very straight-forward mindset that helps her come up with plans on the fly. She quickly learns the best way to do things and retains this memories, relaying it later to assist herself and the others around her. She is good at coming up with plans as well as executing ones given to her.
Reliable
Physically, Thrushpaw is reliable. She makes it a point to be where she needs to be when she needs to be. Because of this, she holds other to the same standard of punctuality and gets unrealistically upset when this is not met.
Conscientious
Not only is Thrushpaw good at making plans, but she always seems to make them ahead of time. This may be a reason she always is on time. She does get mad when this plans don't come to pass, however is equally as good at reconfiguring said plans in order to fit the new situation.

Thrushpaw takes everything said to heart. Insults hit hard and compliments mean a lot. However, due to her self-conscious and pessimistic tendencies, everything comes out to be more negative than it might me, resulting in Thrushpaw being quite crabby most of the time. As demonstrated by her appearance, Thrushpaw doesn't take very good care of herself. She has messy, matted fur, most commonly clogged with thorns, branches, burrs and leaves. This description also helps other picture the appearance of her nest as well as the nests she makes for her other clanmates--shredded wads of moss that usually fall apart quite easily.

HISTORY

Kit [0-6 moons]
Thrushkit was born to a single mother, Robinthroat, who's mate, Speckleclaw, had drowned while trying to rescue the late Yellowpaw. This resulted in Robinthroat being overly protective yet distant from the start, helicoptering both her and Thrushkit's brother, Marigoldkit, who seemed to lack the ability to feel pain of any kind, including that of hunger. This quickly resulted in the undernourishment of the young kit, and the eventual death from the unfelt hunger. The half-blind kitten felt great sorrow for her lost littermate, as she was really the only one who knew how to gently play with the weak nursery-dweller and, in turn, Marigoldkit was careful of her blind side. The two had grown close, and the loss took a toll on Thrushkit's mental health. While the effect on Thrushkit was great, the loss was even harder on Robinthroat, who has displayed signs of schizophrenia since early apprenticehood. This damaged mental state caused her to eventually attempt to kill Thrushkit, as Robinthroat thought she would be saving Thrushkit from a similar fate and the pain of living half-blind, a condition that Thrushkit had already grown used to. However, this plan never came to pass and Robinthroat was exiled, leaving Thrushkit motherless. A young cat by the name of Rosepaw soon stepped up for the job, however, as it had been her brother who Thrushkit's father had been trying to save, and Rosepaw felt indebted to him. Thrushkit quickly grew to like Rosepaw and imagined spending the rest of her life alongside her adoptive mother.

Apprentice [6-present moons]
Thrushkit soon became Thrushpaw and was assigned ___ as a mentor. Eager yet nervous to start training she sought out Rosepaw, was due to become a warrior any day, for advice, recalling that the young she-cat had gone out to hunt. Sadly, Thrushpaw went out with her mentor to find poor Rosepaw being eaten by a fox beside the river, obviously too startled to have called for help before being killed. Around this time is when Thrushpaw's anxiety and insomnia started to take hold, as she didn't have any immediate friends or family to turn to. She still worked hard to train and try and become a warrior.
