My dragonrider character Tallah's brown dragon, Solanth. It's true, the dragons make Pern what it is for me.This was an test of sorts to see if I can draw dragon wings. I used several pictures of bat wings from various books as references. Personally I think their arms and legs wouldn't need to be anything but puny (compared to their flight muscles). And they would need a keel of sorts.
The background is a photo taken by myself.
I'm somewhat happy with this.

I think they'd probably need at least good hind muscles, to push off the ground enough to get in the sky. Wings alone might not make it.
