Sometimes you can find it hard to accept what has happened but refusing to accept the current reality is pointless and energy draining. It's like you are trying to get the spilled water back in the glass with your refusal but it's futile.
This digital painting was inspired by the above mentioned, hence the goth vampire lady staring angrily at you because her wine (blood?) glass has tipped over and shattered, and spilled the drink on the floor.
