My client work 'Beacon Home,' is about the love of two very different souls, bringing them back together again. Inspired by the client as well as the towering sea stacks and sandy beaches of Oregon.

I was paid to make this painting for a wedding anniversary and the idea for the two disparate lovers came from my free-flying client. It was up to me how I wanted represent the two elementals on the beach. The final piece when printed was about three feet wide and I heard it brought tears to someone's eyes

I'm super pleased with the results here and I owe a lot to my artist friends who helped me see where I could improve the composition and color. My eye for value really leveled up, hooray! I have a different client requesting a similar romantic piece and I look forward to working on that one as well.
