When Maya had confronted Fae about how she has been acting weird around Jackie.

Maya had just come up next to Fae after everyone took a break for a moment from the hike, Fae had been looking at the group but mostly at Jackie.
“Hey so what’s going on with you and Jackie did something happen.” Maya asked while crossing her arms. Fae looked at her confused shaking her head saying no everything was the same between them.
“ well one moment you’re blushing and normal with him next you’re quiet and distance what’s going on?”
Knowing she couldn’t hide it from her long term female friend Fae signed and looked to the side.
“Well.. you know I like him.. “ she started as Maya nodded waiting for her to continue. “And the reason I never told him how I felt was because originally her was one of Xavier’s champions and I didn’t want him to just say he accepted me just cause I was his sister..”
Maya nodded again “yeah but now he isn’t a champion of Xavier’s what’s stopping you now?”
“Xaviers still my brother…” she said and Maya understood her now, Fae was afraid he’d not like her because he might think it’s a trick from Xavier.
“Girl we both know he would never think of you different because of who your family is. He’s always been your friend ever before we knew you were the other sides princess, so don’t be afraid and just tell him or you’ll regret it. And I know you’re going to say something about not wanting to ruin your friend ship but we both know you’ll get in your own head one way or the other and regret or not regret telling him.” Maya told Fae laying a hand on her shoulder. Fae looked to her friend with a thoughtful look and nodded smiling in thanks,
“Thanks Maya, you’re right. I’ll make sure to tell him soon I promise.”
