Taken during the Engen Volkswagen Cup race, this is the eventual winner of the race. Watching these guys hurtling round the corner was quite something, you really get the sense of speed they carry through the corner, which you will never feel by watching it on tv.

PS: notice that red thing sticking through the safety fence? that's a vuvuzela(?) a trumpet/horn-thing the locals like to use during football matches, anyway, sticking it through the safety fence as a car races pass isn't one of the most intelligent things one can do. this is the kind of thing got the a1 race delayed.
