The Pods were arguably one of the powerful tools at the disposal of the Yorha units against the machine lifeforms. All the different programs that it could use were fantastic, however 2B made a very unwise choice in plucking what appeared to be a new pod program. They're large, maybe twice her size. Mostly metal, though there's an area of dark plastic or glass--not enough light to see inside, however. The drone flits over toward a pale green light further down the row...

She runs over to it, and looks at it. Wonder what possibly could be different.
βIs this one any different, Pod?β

From a faint light inside the door, she sees a shadowy humanoid figure...

She tries to open it, her finger prying at the lid.
βOpen up...β

It's sealed, and sealed tightly. She can't get a bit of headway.
The drone plugs into a console next to the pod...

She goes to look at the console.
βLetβs get you open...whatever this is.β

There's a hiss: a synthetic voice says "CYROGENIC RECONSTRUCTION IN PROGRESS. PLEASE WAIT."

2Bβs Eyes widen.
βCryogenic reconstruction....?! Thatβs impossible...β

"30 SECONDS REMAINING." The voice continues impassively.

She holds her blade aggressively, ready to slay nearly anything that comes out of that pod.
βThis better not be something bad.β

"COMPLETE. PLEASE ADMINISTER PROPER POST-RECONSTRUCTION MEDICAL ATTENTION." The door clicks open, and a figure falls limply out.

She holds her blade defensively.
βMedical attention?! What is this thing!β

--HU-MAN-- The drone floats down by the figure's head...

βThatβs impossible.β
She looks stunned, her sword clatter to the ground as she backs away

--BRING HU-MAN. GIVE HELP-- It looks at her, then at the moaning figure on the floor.

She gets closer, looking mortified.
βI donβt know how to assist a human medically! Repair gel doesnβt work on humans!β

--BRING HU-MAN. FOLL-OW.-- It repeats.

She picks the figure up, prepared to take the human anywhere.
βWe have to hurry then.β

It buzzes just across the hall to what she may or may not recognize as a medical facility. It hovers near a bed.

She sets the human down on the bed. Unsure of the next step needed to be taken.

The drone hovers over a rack of some sort, shining a light on a mask. --HANDS NEED-ED, PLACE ON HU-MAN FACE--

She picks up the mask and puts it on the humans face. Sheβs gentle, as so not to damage the human further

--FOL-LOW-- The drone intones again, headed for a freezer of some sort.

She walks over, opening the freezer when they arrive.
βWhat is it?β

There's row upon row of syringes inside; after a few seconds, the drone focuses its beam on one in particular.

She plucks it out, and brings it back to the human. Inject it into his arm.

--RE-STRAIN HU-MAN. MUSCLE SPASMS-- The drone buzzes: as it says, the man's arm begins to twitch...

She holds him down tightly, her android strength kicking in.
βWhy is this such a pain in the ass?!β

And just in time--the twitch grows into convulsions, spreading across the whole of the body. He may not be as strong as her, but it isn't easy to keep him from wriggling out without injuring him...

She tries her best to keep him still, putting as much effort as she can into it

Minutes pass--the convulsions die down a little, though from neurological calming or muscular exhaustion she's not sure. He's still twitching intermittently, mask over his mouth fogging with his short and ragged breath.

βWhat the hell is wrong with him! Iβm calling for medical backup!β
She starts to access her radio

This far in the rock and metal, though, there's no signal... Looking down, she sees his eyes now open, and his mouth and lips clenching with a little more intent than the other twitching...

She sighs, relaxing back.
βThe Human is awake, now he care take care of himself, right Pod?β

He starts vocalizing, now having the articulation to make coherent noises. A trembling arm tries to pull out from under her protective restraint.

βThis canβt get any worse...β
She mutters, holding him down.
βNo, youβll just hurt yourself.β

"W-w-ww-www-" He stutters, teeth chattering.

βIs he cold?β
She looks at the pod, unsure of whatβs wrong with it.
βCanβt they verbalize?β

--SPASMS WILL END SHORT-LY--
The human keeps struggling out "w" sounds through uncooperative lips.

βStop moving!β
She grunts, shushing him, starting to get annoyed.
βJust relax and speak, human!β

This only makes the tremors worse, with a significant effort made to wriggle out from under her. His eyes are open, tinged with fear...

She sighs, starting to shush him and gently pat him on the head.
βShhh...itβs okay...β

He swallows, and the tremors die down significantly. Easily within her power to quell, if she wishes.
"W-wh-ho..?" He stutters out.

βThatβs not important. You need to calm down and rest.β
She puts a finger on his lips

"I-I... y-y-ye-yes..." He tries to slow his breathing. His eyes close again, slowly.

She sighs, relaxing.
βPod, we need to get ahold of Yorha.β

βYes! They can help this human better than I ever could!β

She crosses her arms.
